I thought I would start a thread so that from time to time I can post questions I have. If I have a question I will try google it and post the solution for anyone else who may not know the answer.
Sadly, its not so easy to find the answer to everything.

I kept seeing those green patches on the map. When Hank came into the server he said he was curious and was going to try find out what they were. He found one but could see no difference to the terrain. It then suddenly struck me that it could be a sky island. I told hank to look up and his reaction said it all | |

Has anyone made a smeltery yet? On the yogscast they said that the smeltery they had was the only thing that could crash the server so I am a bit worried to make one and find I have killed the server | |

Not me, maybe Jonsadventures, as he was the first to play properly on there. Is it hard to make them? Also good thing the BTeam server has a very strict whitelist, otherwise all the haters would be coming on right now to kill the server with that info I'll quickly make a backup* of the map, just incase What's that weird multi-block contraption for making iron rods or something? The iron things in knapsacks I mean.... *Done | |

The smeltery works fine, except the fact it doubles your ingots xD Running out of room (a complete wall of solid ore blocks) | |

I just made a load of guns....makes for interesting ranching *guns down bunch of my animals with MP5* I started on the server by making a load of genetic engineering stuff with the Advanced Genetics mod first, gonna do a bit more of that, then probably gonna work either on vehicles, the Galacticraft stuff (space rockets) or make some custom tools with Tinker's Construct; decisions decisions EDIT: Btw just added this thread to "Threads we Like!" Oops, my bad, this must be because of the new content packs I added. I'll add a zip file or self-extracting EXE with them all in. But in the meantime I'll put the links up to each pack (there was only about 6, in the form of zips). They need to go in your mods folder. Example location: C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\.technic\modpacks\attack-of-the-bteam\Flan IMPORTANT: DON'T extract the individual zips themselves, just the main one that contains the individual zips for each content pack.
EDIT: Rest-assured it'll be worth it It adds a load more vehicles and guns - the selection was big before, now it's just bloody insane Links: EDIT2: Ok, I put all the above packs in a zip file (click to download - is a 10MB download FYI) with the instructions above Can't remember how to do self-extracting EXEs, besides not everyone would trust an EXE, most likely.... | |
